SPACE IS LIMITED AND ON A FIRST COME BASIS. Exhibitors who get their contracts in prior to Sept. 1st, will be given priority.

Pets are not allowed on grounds of U.P. Equifest except on leash in campground area only.

Any entity or individual dealing in commondities, services, promotional activities associated with the horse world are entitled to apply for space rental.

Vendors must agree to donate minimum $20 gift certificate or item to be donated for Silent Auction or be an Equifest Event Sponsor.

U.P. Equifest will provide 2 complimentary admission tickets per 10 foot booth space which may be picked up Friday, Sept. 26th, 2008. NO tickets will be mailed. Additional tickets will be available at $5 per day or $10 / 3 day pass. Children 6 & under are FREE. Lost tickets will not be replaced.

Exhibitor agrees to provide all necessary equipment to the exhibit. U.P. Equifest will provide one electrical hookup to the exhibit space.

Early set up on Friday starting @ 9:00 am is encouraged, however not required. Equifest will be open to the public on Friday at 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Exhibits must be set up by 8:30 Sat. morning and remain set up until 6:00 that night, and 9-5 on Sunday. Vendors who do not maintain required hours will not be allowed to set up in future years.  Exhibitor agrees to maintain a clean and orderly exhibit during U.P. Equifest and to allow for movement of pedestrian traffic throughout any of the exhibit space leased.

Public liability insurance is required of all vendors. Before a vendor can begin assembling their stand, proof of insurance must be on file with the Upper Peninsula State Fair. Exhibitor agrees to not hold U.P. Equifest, nor representatives of U.P. Equifest or co-sponsoring organizations responsible for property damage or loss, personal injury or death occurring while being a part of U.P. Equifest. Exhibitor agrees to assume liability for property damage, personal injury or death occurring within or outside the exhibit space from causes which originate within the exhibit space. This event is governed by the Michigan Equine Liability Act.

U.P. Equifest reserves the right to cancel or restrict exhibits, which because of noise, methods, materials, or for any reason become objectionable, problematic, or in the opinion of U.P. Equifest detract from the general character of the exhibit as a whole. In the event of such restrictions or cancellation, U.P. Equifest is not liable for any refund or other exhibit expenses.

This application and Contract for rental space is to be completed in full and signed by the Exhibitor and accompanied by a non-refundable payment in full for total space applied for. Except as otherwise provided herein, all applications are on a first come basis and space will be assigned in the same manner. U.P. Equifest will not process applications without payment. The exhibitor may not resell or reassign rented space to another.

REFUNDS: Cancellations received after September 1, 2008 will receive a refund in the form of a credit for the following year's event.
