New this year, the UP Equifest gave individuals or teams the chance to show off their horse in a Freestyle Competition set to music.

A 3-5 minute musical performance with a horse was judged on ability and originality. Judging will be based on (A)Attire/Costume, (B)Creativity, (C)Skill demonstrated, and (D)Level of Difficulty. There were four entries and the winner was Giddy Up and Go Gang 4-H Club, Escanaba.

Winners received Nutrena Embossed Leather CD Cases. 1st Place received cash based on 50% of Freestyle Entries.
