Camping Guidelines - U. P. Equifest 2007

Camping on the Upper Peninsula State Fairgrounds is available to exhibitors and participants of the 2007 Equifest in Escanaba, Michigan. The following requirements have been approved by the Upper Peninsula State Fair Board and must be met by those camping on the fairgrounds.

1. The UP State Fair staff shall assign designated campsites by number, supervise the camping area, collect fees and issue permits. Camping permits must be displayed in the front window of the unit.
2. Electrical service and water are available at some sites. Showers and restrooms are available on the grounds.
3. A dumping station is available on the grounds.
4. Campfires only allowed in designated areas.
5. Each unit is limited to no more than eight people, and an adult must be present to supervise minors.
6. Only one unit is allowed per site.
7. A minimum of 4' spacing must exist between units, including awnings and
slide-outs.
8. Pets shall be kept on a leash at all times and are to be kept in campground area. Owners are responsible for proper disposal of waste.
9. Camping fees - Campsites: $18.00 per night.
10. Reservations require 100% deposit. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE.
11. You may assume reservations are approved unless notified otherwise.
